TBLC Digital Collections
(September 10, 2007): The software that powers the Florida Legacy - TBLC Digital Collections website, OpenDLS, has been updated. A number of functional and visual updates have been made...
- Save/Email records function. You can now select records from your search/browse results (from the brief or full view) and email the file or save it to your computer. The complete records are displayed, including content links.
- Browse Collections. The 'Main Guide' pages have been replaced with the Browse Collection page. The new page includes a list of all collections in title order. An additional link to view the collections by Library is also available.
- Numerous visual/presentation style updates were made. Corrections were made to accommodate changes in the latest browsers.
- The Persistent URL (PURL) for individual records and each collection is now displayed. The PURL for an image record will take you to the Image Viewer, and the PURL for a bibliographic, document, or E-Book record will take you to the full record view. The PURL for a collection brings you to the collection home page, i.e. the description.
As always - every effort is made to thoroughly test OpenDLS. Please report any issues - or other feedback to Richard R. Bernardy, Jr. rbernard@lib.usf.edu
